BOULDER, Colo. — Charlotte’s Web Holdings, Inc. announced Feb. 20 its hemp-derived CBD supplements, topicals and tinctures for pets have been approved by the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) and the US Hemp Authority, two national organizations working to set standards for CPG supplements and hemp products.
The company’s full pet supplement line — which includes 12 SKUs for dogs spanning soft chews, topical balms and flavored hemp oils — will now proudly don the NASC and US Hemp Authority seals on all packaging.

We are very proud that our edible pet products have earned a seal of approval from both the NASC and the US Hemp Authority."
The company will also be adding other labels to its pet products, including grain-free and non-GMO.
Charlotte’s Web’s pet supplements are formulated with US-grown, full-spectrum hemp extract and are formulated with other functional ingredients to offer functional benefits, such as hip and joint support, calming and senior dog health.
The company’s hemp farming operations are currently transitioning from conventional to organic agricultural methods, according to the company. As of February, it has achieved organic for 50% of its hemp fields.
Once the switch to organic farming is complete, the company said it will seek a USDA Organic certification for its products as well.
Charlotte’s Web reported tremendous growth in its pet products, growing 57% year-over-year as of the third quarter of 2019.
