SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Pet Supplies Plus has chosen The Honest Kitchen’s Whole Food Clusters dog food products to receive its inaugural Best Innovation award. The 100% human-grade and minimally processed diets are available in grain-chicken, grain-free beef and grain-free turkey formulas.

“The Honest Kitchen has really taken an innovative approach to creating its new product – Whole Food Clusters,” said Derek Panfil, chief merchandising and marketing officer at Pet Supplies Plus. “There truly isn’t another product like this on the market.”

Whole Food Clusters are processed with human-grade ingredients inside a human-grade facility. The “clusters” are considered a healthier alternative to kibble by the company. Each batch is slow-roasted and gently dehydrated to preserve the nutritional value and antioxidant benefits from ingredients such as kale, pumpkin and carrot.
