ST. FRANCIS, Wis. — The maker of Charlee Bear and Hound & Gatos brands, Gott Pet Products, has added another distribution partner in North Carolina. Nature’s Rules distributes animal feed and care products and will now carry both brands for independent retailers in the state.

“Speaking for the entire company, we’re extremely excited to expand our presence in North Carolina,” said Patrick McGarry, general manager of Gott Pet Products. “Much like Nature’s Rules, we are committed to providing the healthiest, most natural products for pets and look forward to our new partnership with this quality-driven distributor.”

Gott Pet Products has recently ramped up Charlee Bear and Hound & Gatos with packaging redesigns and new products. Charlee Bear has added freeze-dried meat treats and granola-based treats for dogs throughout 2019, and Hound & Gatos released its first dry kibble diets for dogs and cats in August.

The company has also added four people to its sales force since February 2019, and added two new distribution partners since June: Complete Animal Nutrition in Florida and Burgham Sales Ltd. in central and eastern Canada.
