OGDEN, Utah — American Nutrition has donated 27.5 tons of pet food to eight pet rescue organizations across the state of Utah. The pet food co-manufacturer has been based in Utah for the past 47 years.

Shelters that received a pet food donation from American Nutrition include Tiny Paws Cat Rescue, Hope’s Rescue, Utah Basset Hounds Rescue, Community Animal Welfare Society, Rescue Rovers, Save Our Pets, Underworld Dog Kennels and Special Needs Poodle Rescue.

“As a company who is drawn close to our home roots, we’re delighted to be able to make this donation to pet food organizations in Utah,” said Steve Mills, senior vice president of customer brands and co-manufacturing for American Nutrition. “These organizations work hard on a daily basis to help the animals that we’ve grown to know and love, so to be able to help both our community and fury friends is an honor to us.”
