SAN FRANCISCO — Vegan dog food and treat company, V-Dog, partnered with Veggie Grill, a plant-based fast-casual restaurant, to host Bottoms Pups, a series of Saturday evening events welcoming dogs to the dinner table at some Veggie Grill patios.
Between 4 and 6 p.m., Veggie Grill will provide free V-Dog treats and green bandanas that read “plant powered,” one of V-Dog’s taglines.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Veggie Grill on this fun addition to their culture, and we look forward to raising awareness that dogs can thrive on plant-based diets too,” said Lindsay Rubin, vice president of V-Dog.
The partnership between the two plant-based nutrition companies kicked off Saturday, Sept. 28 at two Veggie Grill restaurants in Chicago and two in California.
“We are thrilled to be working with V-Dog for the launch of Bottoms Pups, where pet guests will enjoy the brand’s wiggle biscuits in the blueberry and peanut butter flavors,” said Steve Heeley, CEO of Veggie Grill. “We encourage all to grab their friends, four legged or two, to enjoy an ideal Saturday afternoon at Veggie Grill.”
V-Dog is a family-owned company founded in 2005. The brand sells complete-and-balanced kibble for small, medium and large dogs, as well as dental chews and dog biscuits, all of which are plant-based and formulated without animal-based meats or products.
