BURLINGTON, Vt. — Under the Weather announced Sept. 12 it has expanded distribution to more than 1,500 pet specialty retail locations through its latest partnership with Pet Food Experts, which will add the brand to 1,200 stores in the Midwest region.

“We are very excited to be part of the Pet Food Experts distribution network,” says Kyla Sternlieb, founder and president of Under the Weather. “I founded Under the Weather based on my passion for helping pets. Working with Pet Food Experts, it’s clear that we are partnering with a distributor that is equally as committed and passionate about improving the lives of our pets.” 

Founded in 2015, Under the Weather produces bland diets for sick or sensitive pets and supplements for those experiencing digestive issues or joint pain. They also have a line of CBD pet supplements.

Pet Food Experts is headquartered in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and operates five distribution centers in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Washington and Colorado. It is a fourth-generation family-owned company that distributes to more than 4,000 retailers nationwide.
