ARLINGTON, Va. — The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) unveiled its latest blog, AFIA Feed Bites, Sept. 9 “to add a different perspective to issues impacting the animal food industry.” One of the main goals of the new blog is to address misinformation, hot topics and the latest trends in the animal nutrition and agriculture industries.

Current topics include the effect of natural disasters on US agriculture and preparedness for natural disasters, food and feed safety and various perspectives from industry leaders.

AFIA staff and members will share insights in the blog, and guests are invited to post policy issues and topics as well. Questions and comments on existing blog posts will also be accepted, as long as they abide by AFIA’s blog policies and terms of use.

The association will send a new biweekly e-mail newsletter including blog content to subscribers.
