MCLEAN, Va. — The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) on July 23 released its schedule for live production lines to run during PROCESS EXPO from Oct. 8 to 11 in Chicago. The show will feature demonstrations of five different products over the course of four days, with each line running three times per day.
The kibble pet food production line will run Tuesday, Oct. 8 through Thursday, Oct. 10, at 10:15 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. each day, and again on Friday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m.
Other production/packaging lines include sliced cheese, frozen pizza, sliced pepperoni and ground beef patties.
"This is the largest endeavor in which PROCESS EXPO has ever engaged,” said Jarrod McCarroll, chairman of FPSA and president of Weber, Inc. “This year’s production lines involve thirty-two equipment manufacturers, four food processors and several trade publications in support of this massive effort to highlight the latest in processing and packaging technology, live and in action, to the food processing industry. Each production line was carefully determined with the goal of bringing value to our audience by showing new and innovative technology that can create opportunities for them in some of the industry’s most popular products.”
