HERENTALS, Belgium — Kemin Industries announced June 12 it will showcase its application engineering technology services, specifically its millSMART program, during the 2019 VICTAM International trade fair in Cologne, Germany, taking place from June 12 to June 14.

Kemin’s millSMART program is a bundle of products, services and solutions feed processors can use to optimize their process controls and deliver on productivity, quality and feed safety standards. Kemin’s application engineering technology is a major piece of its millSMART program.

"The essence of the millSMART programme is more than just unique product formulation; it's pairing it with innovative application technology to maximize product distribution, penetration and overall efficacy," said Raf Snoekx, business development manager of application engineering technology for Kemin’s Animal Nutrition and Health division in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (EMENA).

This solution combines customized equipment, services and training to ensure processors are getting the most out of their operations. Experts at Kemin design and produce each tailored application system, and local service engineers throughout the EMENA region are available to oversee installation, on-site training and maintenance.

The millSMART program can result in improved throughput, energy savings, increase pellet quality and feed yield output.

"The millSMART programme ensures our customers achieve profitable and sustainable operations under all conditions," added Carmen Coetzee, product manager of feed processing and feed safety for Kemin’s Animal Nutrition and Health division – EMENA.

Kemin will exhibit at boot B081 in Hall 6 during VICTAM. The supplier will also present nozzle technology, a real-time automatic sampler that assists with representative sample taking and calibrations, and an online demonstration of millSMART.
