MCLEAN, Va. — The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) will host a webinar on cybersecurity geared toward the food and beverage industry on June 20 from 1 to 2 p.m. The webinar will be moderated by Matthew Hartman, senior automation sales engineer for Blentech Corporation.
The webinar, “Industrial Cybersecurity: How to Get Started and Why it Matters to Food & Beverage Producers,” will also feature panelists Tony Kuznia, lead engineer for the information systems group at Cybertrol Engineering, and Jason Lachowsky, industrial IT engineer at Cybertrol.
During the webinar, industry members and cybersecurity experts will discuss ways processors can assess their industrial networks and develop cybersecurity efforts. These efforts could prevent financial losses, liability issues or theft of corporate IP and give food and beverage manufacturers peace of mind when incorporating automated processes, using centralized Manufacturing Intelligence, and working with supply chains.
The webinar is free to FSPA members. More details and registration information can be found on the FPSA’s webinar page.
