HARVARD, Ill. — The Pound Bakery introduced several new product lines inspired by the summer season, including dog biscuits based on French cuisine, organic dog treats and soft-baked natural chews.

Le Petit Treats are made in the US but formulated with the help of a Parisian chef, according to The Pound Bakery. They are grain-free and include limited ingredients. The French formulas include Coq Au Vin with chicken, chickpea and beets; Crème De Menthe with spinach and mint; and Beef Bourguignon with beef, carrots and peas.

Wholesome Mutt’s organic dog treats are formulated with USDA-certified ingredients sourced directly from farms to ensure they are pesticide- and chemical-free, The Pound Bakery says. They are baked in small batches and available in four varieties: sweet potato, peanut butter, pumpkin ginger, and apple cinnamon.

Paws Barkery soft-baked chews for dogs are all-natural. The three recipes include Berry Patch, Pina Colada, which is enhanced with pineapple and coconut, and Fresh Made Donut Recipe, which includes oats, molasses, coconut and flaxseed for flavor.

The Pound Bakery’s treats are sold wholesale through the company’s online store, and directly to consumers at PrizedPet.com.
