STAMFORD, Conn. — The American Pet Products Association (APPA) appointed two members to key positions of its board of directors April 29. Alice Tillett was chosen as the board’s new chair and Jeremy Baker will fill the role of director.
Tillett has been the CEO of Doskocil Manufacturing, known as Petmate, since 2014. In her new role as chair of the APPA board, she will oversee all board meetings and serve in a leadership advisory role to guide industry-wide initiatives.
Tillett previously worked as president of Pacific Cycle, a division of Dorel Industries, for more than 12 years.
Baker is the VP of strategic business development at Oxbow Animal Health and brings 12 years of pet ]industry experience to the APPA board.
“On behalf of the American Pet Products Association, I am pleased to congratulate Alice on her new leadership role and welcome Jeremy to the board,” said APPA CEO Steve King. “Based on their years of industry experience and passion for supporting responsible pet ownership, I am confident both Alice and Jeremy will serve their newly-elected positions well.”
