SEATTLE — Trupanion, a medical insurance provider for cat and dogs, and Rayne Clinical Nutrition, a pet food manufacturer focused on whole food diets for sick or sensitive pets, partnered on April 22 to research the effectiveness of high-quality diets in achieving better pet health.
The two companies are currently discussing initiatives that will benefit both parties and their clients, said Scott Janzen, spokesperson for Trupanion.
“We’re eager to understand if feeding a high-quality diet will have a better health outcome for a pet,” said Darryl Rawlings, CEO and founder of Trupanion. “That’s why we’re proud to partner with Rayne Clinical Nutrition.”
John Phelps, CEO and founder of Rayne Clinical Nutrition, added, “Our partnership with Trupanion will be strong because we share so many values, including our commitment to veterinarians. We want to ensure that pets’ nutritional requirements are being met for longer, healthier lives.”
