Augmented Reality Showcase demonstration collage, FPSAMCLEAN, Va. — The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) will debut its newest show floor activity, an Augmented Reality (AR) Showcase, at PROCESS EXPO in October 2019. The attraction will allow attendees to experience processing and packaging equipment in innovative new ways through training demonstrations and holograms.

"This is definitely going to be one of the highlights of this year’s show,” said Jarrod McCarroll, FPSA chairman and president of Weber, Inc. “Whether it be empowering maintenance personnel on the plant floor or engineers envisioning processing floor adaptations from the actual plant floor, this technology has the potential to revolutionize how suppliers work with food processors. Thanks to these demonstrations at PROCESS EXPO, attendees will get firsthand experience on this technology that they may soon be seeing in their plants in the future.”

The AR Showcase will demonstrate equipment features holographically and guide participants through training simulations. The activity will be available to all PROCESS EXPO attendees, and exhibitors wishing to participate should contact Don Harvey, Jr. at donharveyjr@harvinar.com.
