WASHINGTON, D.C. — Pet Food Institute (PFI) named Morgan Beach as its new director of government relations. She brings extensive agricultural knowledge and experience to this new role.
Beach previously worked as trade policy manager for the National Milk Producers Federation and US Dairy Export Council, where she raised awareness about US dairy producers’ trade priorities. Additionally, she worked on Capitol Hill for Rep. David Valadao, where she handled agriculture issues, and for the Farm Credit Council, where she assisted the CEO and legislative team.
“Nearly two-thirds of families across the country have a beloved dog or cat to feed every day, and PFI members are proud to provide the safe food and complete nutrition that our pets require,” said Dana Brooks, president and CEO of PFI. “We are excited to welcome Morgan to the team as we advance the mission of promoting long and healthy lives for pets.”
Pet Food Institute, established in 1958, is a voice for the US pet food and treat industry on state and federal legislation, as well as public education and media relations. The organization hosts seminars and educational programs and serves as a liaison with other organizations.
