COLUMBIA, S.C. – Canadian pet treat manufacturer EOC Naturals will open a new facility to produce all-natural products in Allendale, South Carolina, bringing a projected $3.3 million in capital investment and creating 76 new jobs in the area. This comes as the company will celebrate its 30th year in business in 2019.
“EOC Naturals’ facility in Allendale, S.C. will allow us to produce North America’s finest pet treats in a location that will enable us to reach our growing markets in the US,” said Mauro Trinchini, founder and president of EOC Naturals and Eurocan Pet Products. “We appreciate the support and welcome we have received from Allendale County, SouthernCarolina Alliance and the State of South Carolina. We look forward to opening our production facility in 2019.”
The new Allendale facility is expected to be operational in the second quarter of 2019, and staffing for the new facility will begin in the first quarter of 2019. The Rural Infrastructure Fund granted the Allendale County $500,000 to support the development.
“EOC Naturals will bring good jobs and investment to our county, where we appreciate manufacturing and processing operations,” said Bill Robinson, Allendale County council chairman. “The people of Allendale County look forward to welcoming this new company and helping them call Allendale home for their U.S. operations.”
EOC Naturals is headquartered in New Hamburg, Ontario and manufactures pet treats under the Eurocan Pet Products brand and for some large retailers.
