SOUTHPORT, Conn. – Earth Animal, a brand of natural pet treats and supplements, announced the reformulation of the Dr. Bob Goldstein’s Daily Health Nuggets product line, which offers whole-food derived vitamin and mineral supplements for both cats and dogs. The product is not new to the market, but has been reformulated to provide vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, phytonutrients, and omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids.

"The original concept of developing the Daily Health Nuggets was based upon my concern that the high temperature of cooking dry and canned commercial pet foods destroys all the vital nutrients, vitamins and enzymes,” said Bob Goldstein, DVM, co-founder of Earth Animal. “I developed the Daily Health Nuggets to ‘naturally fortify’ the over-processed foods and add back what was destroyed by cooking.”

The company explains that each ingredient in the Daily Health Nuggets is kept in its ‘raw’ state, using neither heat nor water to cook the product, which optimizes the health benefits and bioavailability. This is done through a proprietary production method. The supplements can be used to bolster pet diets, and offer whole nutrients, vitamins and enzymes that promote healthy skin, coat and immune function.

Earth Animal began in Yorktown Heights, New York in 1979 and has grown to a multistate manufacturer of natural pet treats and other pet products. The company plans to launch a new pet food line in 2019.
