The Canadian pet food manufacturer has provided a five-year grant that will support companion animal nutrition research and includes an endowment of a university chair.

Pet Sustainability Coalition expects more than 500 pet care professionals to attend its 2021 event, held virtually Oct. 12 and 13.

The technical conference addressed food safety, product quality and sustainability in the pet food and rendering industries.

The Biden administration announced the nomination of Elaine Trevino on Sept. 14.

The association will select graduate and undergraduate students to speak and present during the conference.

The association is urging the hemp and animal feed industries to make the case for nationwide regulatory approval.

The science-based pet nutrition company is now an Icon-level member.

Environmental impacts, social impacts, nutrition and animal welfare should all be considered.

The event will now take place Sept. 7-9, 2022, at a new location.

The association’s membership tentatively approved the ingredient for adult dog food formulations in August.
